Delete your account

You're always in control of your data. Here's how to delete your Spottail account — the app published by SpotTail Infotech Private Limited — what gets deleted, and what happens next.

Fastest way: in the app

Open Spottail → Profile → Settings → Delete account. Confirm, and it's done immediately — no waiting on us.

What gets deleted, and what we keep

When you delete your account, your pets, photos, chats, saved lists, and profile are permanently erased. We retain only what the law requires, plus anonymised aggregate statistics that can no longer identify you.

Payment and transaction records	Not applicable — Spottail is free. Once payment features launch, retained as accounting and tax law require

Prefer to pause instead?

Deletion is permanent. If you'd rather step away for a while, Profile → Settings → Deactivate account hides you from discovery and chat without erasing anything — it's reversible, and signing back in restores your account. Deactivated accounts are kept for up to 180 days, then processed for deletion.

Can't access the app?

Submit a request below with the email on your Spottail account. We'll send a verification link — open it within 24 hours to confirm, and the deletion is carried out immediately.
