Why Spottail exists

It started with an ordinary walk, and a question most pet parents have asked.

Is there anyone nearby for my dog to spend time with? Not a training class, not a breeder, just a companion close enough to actually meet. That question didn't have a good answer — so we built one. Hyderabad is our first neighbourhood. India is next, one city at a time.

Built for dogs and cats, both

Filter discovery by species so you see the companions that actually suit your pet. Every pet gets their own profile too — a senior cat and a boisterous puppy are not looking for the same company.

Built for meeting safely

You are arranging for your pet — and often yourself — to meet someone nearby. Here is what we do about that.

Vaccination verification

Owners upload their pet's records and our team reviews them before a profile is marked Verified. It isn't self-reported, and it isn't automatic.

Blocking is mutual

Block someone and neither of you sees the other again — profiles, messages or discovery. It isn't a one-way hide.

Reporting reaches a person

Report any profile or conversation from the app. Reports are reviewed by our team, and reporting blocks that person too.
